@RTP – Yeah, it depends on how many digits you want to dictate. For example, if you only tell it to create a .onion starting with the letter “a”, then it’ll take only a second or so and generate a whole heap of .onion addresses like a???????????????.onion (where ? is a random character). On the other hand, the more letters you tell it to use, the longer it takes. For example, if you were to tell it to start with “ikickass”, then it will take exponentially longer to generate ikickass????????.onion.
I did it for myself once, and it took about an hour to generate a .onion with 6 dictated characters + 10 random characters.
The thing is, the longer you let it run, the more it spits out. So if you let it run long enough, you might get one that has a random word in it like this: ikickassxportalz.onion – easier to remember huh?
